Hit-and-run driver sought in North Lindenhurst crash, Suffolk cops say

Suffolk County police say they are looking for the driver of a car that left the scene of an accident in North Lindenhurst.
The car, possibly a dark-colored sedan, was northbound on North Wellwood Avenue about 7 p.m. Thursday when it struck another northbound car, police said. The second car struck a utility pole, causing injuries to the driver that were not life-threatening, police said.
The second car continued north on North Wellwood Avenue, police said.
