Holbrook Bagel Cafe burglarized on Sunday, Suffolk police say

Suffolk County police Fifth Squad detectives are investigating a smash-and-grab burglary that took place Sunday night at a bagel shop in Holbrook.
The burglary at the Bagel Cafe on Patchogue-Holbrook Road occurred around 9:30 p.m., police said.
Police said the suspect — or suspects — broke into the store and stole a cash register containing an undisclosed amount of cash. The store was closed at the time.
There were no reported injuries.
