The suspect entered Chase Bank, at 991 Main St., at 6:05 p.m. and presented a teller a note demanding cash, police said. The teller complied with the demand and the man fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.

The suspect was described as being in his mid-30s, approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a medium build and full beard, police said. He was wearing a light-colored baseball cap and a green and tan long-sleeve shirt, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
