Home Depot theft in Commack caught on camera, cops say

Suffolk County police are seeking the public's help to locate the man suspected of stealing $1,000 worth of flooring from a Home Depot store in Commack on March 11, 2016. Credit: SCPD
He stole more than a grand worth of flooring from a Home Depot store in Commack, police said.
Now, Suffolk County police have released surveillance footage of the suspect — and are asking anyone with information about the theft to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477.
Callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for any information leading to an arrest in the case.
All calls will remain confidential.
Police said the suspect, seen pulling a cart loaded with flooring, entered the Home Depot on Crooked Hill Road on March 11 at about 9:20 a.m., loaded the skid with more than $1,000 worth of flooring — and walked out of the store with it.
