Homeless man who robbed 3 banks arrested, police say
A homeless man arrested Friday robbed three banks this month, Suffolk police said.
Vincent Allen, 30, was nabbed shortly after holding up the Bank of America on Veterans Memorial Highway in Commack on Friday, police said. He also robbed the TD Bank on East Main Street in Patchogue on April 23, detectives said.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Saturday on two counts of third-degree robbery.
Riverhead police said they also plan to charge Allen with third-degree robbery for holding up a Capital One bank on East Main Street on Tuesday.
