Man, 32, shot to death after answering knock on front door, Suffolk police say

A Huntington Station man was shot to death late Saturday after answering a knock on his front door, Suffolk police said.
Roquez Villalba-Jimenez, 32, was at his East 12th Street home at approximately 11:35 p.m. when he was shot, police said. Villalba-Jimenez was transported to Huntington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Suffolk police detectives ask anyone with information about the fatal shooting call the homicide squad at 631-852-6392 or Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
