Nassau County police on Wednesday arrested a third suspect  in a brutal assault outside an East Meadow bar that sent one man to the hospital last month.

Police said that three men attacked a 30-year-old man in the parking lot of Kiely’s Ale House at 1:45 a.m. on Sept. 29. The victim suffered a fractured skull, hearing loss, and lost consciousness after being punched, kicked and struck with a beer bottle, police said in a news release. The victim was treated at a hospital for his injuries.

Jacob Devitt, 20, of Wantagh was arrested shortly after police arrived at the scene, but two others were arrested this week following an investigation. Devitt was arraigned on charges of second-degree gang assault and criminal possession of a weapon on Sept. 30 in First District Court in Hempstead, police said.

His attorney could not be reached for comment Wednesday.

On Tuesday, police arrested Michael O’Leary of Levittown and charged him with second-degree gang assault. On Wednesday, police arrested Christopher O’Leary, 23, who lives at the same address as Michael, in Bellmore and also charged him with second-degree gang assault, police said. The two were arraigned Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.

It was not clear Wednesday if the O'Learys had retained legal counsel.
