North Patchogue man found dead in his home, police say
A North Patchogue man was found dead in his house Friday, Suffolk County police said.
Another resident who had returned home reported Kristopher Appel, 30, was injured and unconcious, police said. Officers who arrived about 1:40 p.m. found the victim dead.
An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death.
Homicide detectives did not release other details Friday nght but asked anyone with information to call them at 631-852-6392 or to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477.
