Gunshot fired in LA Fitness in New Hyde Park, Nassau police say
Nassau County police Third Squad detectives are investigating after a gunshot was fired inside an L.A. Fitness in New Hyde Park on Monday.
Police said the incident was reported at 9:06 p.m. and said it occured at the fitness center located at 1111 Marcus Ave.
Police confirmed one shot was fired inside the center, at the basketball court, and said no injuries were reported.
Additional details about the incident or the shooter were not released.
Police said that the investigation is ongoing.
