Nassau police are looking for the person or people who broke into a Levittown home Monday and stole jewelry.

According to detectives, a Constable Lane homeowner, 53, noticed his rear bedroom window had been broken into about noon.

Jewelry was stolen from a first-floor bedroom and a jewelry box on the second floor, police said. The victim’s 25-year-old daughter was asleep in another second-floor room during the robbery. Someone tried to enter the room, she told police, but the door was locked, police said.

No injuries were reported, police said.

Police said anyone with information could call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477.
