Assault near LIRR tracks in Patchogue, Suffolk police say

A person was assaulted early Wednesday near the Long Island Rail Road station in Patchogue, according to Suffolk County police.
A suspect is in custody, police said.
The victim's injures are not life-threatening, according to police.
Additonal details were not immediately available.
