A Flanders teen, stopped for an outstanding warrant, was arrested Monday in Riverside and additionally charged with weapons possession after police said they found he had a loaded .32 caliber pistol.
Southampton Town police said Wednesday Terrance Latimore, 19, was stopped by an officer from the town’s Community Response Unit who saw Latimore in a car — and knew he was being sought by Suffolk County police on an outstanding warrant. The nature of that warrant was not immediately known Wednesday.
Police said that during the arrest the gun was discovered.
Latimore was charged with second-degree, third-degree and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree criminal contempt and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was arraigned at Southampton Town Justice court, were he was ordered held on $50,000 bail.
