Police are searching for a man who they said stole clothes on back-to-back days from stores at the Walt Whitman Shops.

The thefts occurred at a Macy’s on April 12 and at Saks Fifth Avenue on April 13.

The man was caught on video surveillance, which Suffolk County police released on Friday.

Police said in the first theft, the man stole “assorted clothing.” In the second, he took 15 pairs of G-Star jeans. Those jeans often cost more than $200 a pair, according to the label’s website.

Police are asking if you know the suspect and are urging anyone with information about the crimes to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will remain confidential.
