Man on NICE bus touched, rubbed woman’s thigh, police say

Nassau County authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man accused by a female bus passenger in Hempstead of touching her thigh and rubbing it.
There were no injuries reported.
Police said the incident happened at 7:20 a.m. Thursday while the victim, 25, was sitting on a Nassau Inter-County Express N6 bus that was traveling near Fulton Avenue and North Franklin Street when the suspect sat next to her.
The man placed his hand on the right thigh of the woman and began to rub her upper thigh, police said, and she told him to stop and took his photo.
The suspect was wearing a tan baseball cap, a gray shirt and had facial hair.
Detectives ask anyone with information about the incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
