Jaquan Harris of Uniondale was arrested by Riverhead police and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after he crashed into a Riverhead pizzeria Sunday morning, May 15, 2016, and drove away, police said. A man driving under the influence of drugs crashed into a Riverhead pizzeria Sunday morning, police said.

Jaquan Harris of Uniondale was arrested by Riverhead police after he struck Sergio’s Pizza, 739 Old Country Rd., and then drove away from the damaged building, police said.

Riverhead police said the crash occurred about 11:50 a.m.

Harris was arrested a short distance away on charges of driving while ability impaired by drugs, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Police said no one was injured.
