Man possibly shot, abducted, stuffed into trunk, police say

The Nassau County police Missing Persons Squad is looking for a 25-year-old man who was possibly shot, abducted and placed in the trunk of an unknown vehicle early Sunday morning in Inwood.
The man was identified by police as Aurelio Maldonado.
Maldonado is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds with a medium build.
He was last seen wearing jeans and a collared long-sleeve shirt with white, blue and gray stripes. He went missing about 12:35 a.m. Sunday near Mott and Lawrence avenues, police said.
Detectives asked anyone with information to call the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347.
