Two men were shot — one fatally — on a Huntington Station street early Saturday, Suffolk County police said.

A large group was gathered on Fifth Avenue just north of West 11th Street about 3:30 a.m. when the shooting occurred at that location, a police spokeswoman said.

Antoine Butts-Miller, 18, was taken by Huntington Community First Aid Squad to Huntington Hospital, where he died, police said.

The second victim, a 31-year-old man, was taken to a hospital and treated and released, police said.

No arrests were made.

“We believe there were a number of witnesses,” Det. Lt. Kevin Beyrer, commanding officer of the Homicide Squad, told News 12 Long Island, adding that police were encouraging witnesses to come forward.

Homicide detectives are continuing the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call the homicide squad at 631-852-6394 or Suffolk Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477; all calls will be kept confidential.
