Nassau County police are seeking the public’s help in locating a male suspect involved in a shooting incident early Sunday in Uniondale.

No injuries were reported.

According to First Precinct detectives, officers received a call about the incident on the Southern Parkway shortly after 1 a.m. through ShotSpotter, which is a shot location and detection service.

Witnesses told police that three males, two on foot and one on a bicycle, were heading east on Southern Parkway and when they got to the corner of Southern Parkway and Davis Avenue, one of the subjects pulled out a handgun and fired three to four shots into the air. All of the males then fled southbound on Davis Avenue.

The armed suspect was described as being 14 to 15 years old, thin and standing about 5-foot-10, and was wearing a white shirt, dark-colored shorts and a dark-colored hat.
