A Smithtown man was arrested Saturday on charges of stalking a female jogger on multiple occasions, Suffolk County police said.

William Adragna, 51, of Holly Lane had followed the woman on several days since April in Ronkonkoma, police said in a news release.

The woman saw Adragna following her Saturday about 9:30 a.m. in a 2003 Ford Taurus on Motor Parkway near Edgewood Avenue, police said. Officers stopped the Taurus near Rosevale Avenue and arrested Adragna, police said.

Adragna was charged with third-degree stalking, second-degree harassment and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He is set to be arraigned Sunday morning in First District Court in Central Islip.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the Fourth Precinct at 631-854-8426.
