A woman forgot her wallet on Feb. 12 at a Massapequa Dunkin’ Donuts only to have a man steal it, Nassau police said.
At about 9:50 a.m. that day, the 42-year-old victim left her wallet, which contained multiple credit cards and cash, on a chair at the coffee shop.
She later called the shop at 997 Carmans Rd., but was told the wallet was gone.
Police discovered it was taken by a man with a “large build” who wore a blue sweatshirt, dark shorts, a black knit hat with an unknown symbol, and white and black sneakers.
Anyone with information about the theft should call 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
