Man stopped for speeding had jumped bail in Suffolk
A Queens man was pulled over after passing a State police cruiser on the Southern State Parkway at 70 mph Tuesday, but that turned out to be the least of his troubles, police said.
Police found Hakin Hogan, 23, of 163-11 Foch Blvd., Jamaica, had no license, 22 active license suspensions, gave the trooper a fake name and had once jumped bail in Suffolk County. He was stopped on the eastbound Southern State near Exit 22 in Roosevelt at 2 p.m.
Hogan was arrested, charged with second-degree bail jumping, second-degree criminal impersonation, misdemeanor unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and vehicle and traffic law violations, police said.
Arraignment details were not immediately available.
