Suffolk County police are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of a suspected vandal who they say threw a skateboard through the front door of a Commack church in January.

The incident occurred sometime between 6:40 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Jan. 26 at the Christ the King Church on Indian Head Road.

Police have released photos from video surveillance showing the suspect with the skateboard, which they said he used to damage the church.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will remain confidential.
