A Mastic woman was arrested Thursday and charged with the robbery of a Medford bank last September, police said.

Nyeshia Skipwith, 23, of 122 Eleanor Ave., was charged with third degree robbery of the TD Bank branch at 1806 Rte. 112, on Sept. 29.

A woman had entered the bank at 10:20 a.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash and stated that she had a bomb, police said. The woman took the money and fled the bank on foot, police said.

Skipwith was to be held overnight at the Fourth Precinct and arraigned Friday in First District Court in Central Islip, police said.
