A Mastic woman was charged with drunken driving with her young daughter in the car after a crash Saturday morning, police said.

Suffolk County police said Stephanie Warner, 34, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child 15 years of age or younger in the vehicle, Leandra’s Law, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Warner was driving a 2004 Jeep Cherokee north on Market Street in Mastic Beach about 9:15 a.m. when she crashed into a tree north of Wavecrest Drive, police said.

When police arrived, they found Warner’s 6-year-old daughter had been hurt in the crash. She was taken by ambulance to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue, where she was treated for minor injuries. Warner was not hurt.

Police booked Warner at the Fourth Precinct, where she will be held until her arraignment Sunday in First District Court in Central Islip. Warner’s vehicle was impounded.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
