An Islip Terrace man was arrested Sunday and charged with murder after police say he fatally stabbed another man after the pair got into an argument, authorities said.

Eduardo Vega, 56, was charged with second degree murder in the stabbing death of Roshane McLaren, 34, in the early morning of Sept. 27, police said. The two men had an altercation outside of a home, where they both lived, on Manhattan Boulevard at about 2:40 a.m.

McLaren was taken to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Vega will be held overnight at the Third precinct and arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Monday.
