Nassau County police are looking for a man who demanded OxyContin from a Garden City Park pharmacist while brandishing a knife Wednesday morning.

Robbery Squad detectives said the man robbed Twin Parks Pharmacy at 2226 Jericho Turnpike at 11:15 a.m. and fled with an undetermined number of the narcotic pills.

No injuries were reported. One other employee was in the pharmacy at the time of the robbery, and no customers were present.

Detectives said the man was 19 to 25 years old, between 6 feet and 6 feet, 2 inches tall, with a thin build and tattoos on his neck, chest and arms.

They asked that anyone with information about the robbery contact Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
