Nassau County police are searching for a man who robbed a convenience store in Massapequa on Thursday morning.

Police said the man entered County Line Farms, 5480 Merrick Rd., at about 8 a.m. and demanded the money in the register from the female clerk, though he did not display a weapon.

The clerk complied and the man fled on foot with an unknown amount of money. The clerk was not injured.

Police said the man was about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and around 27 years old. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a red and black plaid shirt and black jeans.

Detectives ask anyone with information to call Nassau County Police Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
