Two men have been arrested in three recent burglaries in Wantagh and Farmingdale, police said.

According to Nassau County detectives, Robert Heredia, 29, and Gustave Schotker, 33, both of Clinton Avenue, Farmingdale, broke into three homes between Jan. 19 and Feb. 10 while performing chimney repair work for National Home Improvements Inc.

The pair stole jewelry and cash from a Farmingdale home on Clinton Avenue and two homes in Wantagh — one on Darby Road West and another on Jonathan Lane, officials said.

After an investigation, the suspects were arrested Wednesday, according to police. Both are being charged with second-degree burglary, police said. Schotker also faces two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Both suspects are scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
