NYPD sergeant from LI faces heroin sale charges, court records show

An NYPD sergeant is under house arrest in her Amityville home after being charged with selling heroin, court records show.

Arlicia Robinson, 38, was indicted Nov. 19 by a federal grand jury in Manhattan on three counts of distributing 1 kilogram or more of heroin between July 25 and Aug. 16, according to the indictment.

Magistrate Judge Henry B. Pitman of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, set Robinson’s bond at $100,000 with home detention and GPS monitoring device at her Amityville home, according to court records.

She was ordered to surrender her passport and any firearms. The court also ordered a mental health evaluation.

NYPD officials did not comment Friday night on Robinson’s arrest.

Online payroll records show Robinson was promoted to sergeant last year and was paid an annual salary of $90,685. Last year she earned $110,932.

Justine Harris, Robinson’s Manhattan attorney, did not return calls for comment.

She was ordered to return to court Feb. 22 for a pretrial conference in Manhattan.
