An Oceanside bank was robbed Friday afternoon by a man who fled on foot, Nassau police said.

The robber showed a note to a teller demanding money at 3:11 p.m., police said.

There were eight employees and one customer inside the TD Bank branch at 247 Long Beach Rd., police said. No injuries were reported.

The robber, who fled northeast on Foxhurst Road, appeared to be in his 20s and 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-10. He wore a gray, hooded sweatshirt with a red star on the left chest and covered his face with a dark scarf, police said.
