Man stole packages from front porches of 8 Suffolk homes, police say
A Wyandanch man was arrested Saturday morning on charges of stealing multiple packages from the porches of eight Suffolk homes since August, Suffolk County police said.
Nicolas Robinson, 33, was charged with eight counts of petty larceny for taking packages from the homes in East Islip, Islip, Bay Shore and Bayport, police said in a news release.
On Friday, a Third Precinct officer responded to a report of a theft on Commack Road in Brentwood, police said. On Saturday, Officer Alejandro Marin saw a man who matched the suspect's description.
