Nassau County police on Friday released two photos of a Ford pickup truck wanted in a hit-and-run in Massapequa earlier this week that left a 72-year-old woman critically injured.

The woman was struck at the intersection of Front Street and Park Lane at 1:23 p.m. on Monday, police said.

The woman, whose name and hometown were not released by police, was taken to a hospital, police said.

The Ford is a dark color, late-model pickup, police said.

Nassau County detectives ask anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS or to call 911. Callers will remain anonymous.
