Plainview Dunkin’ Donuts robbed at knifepoint, cops say
Nassau County police are looking for a man who robbed a Plainview Dunkin’ Donuts at knifepoint on Monday.
Police said a man entered the doughnut shop at 1068 Old Country Rd. at about 11:20 p.m. on Monday. The man displayed a large kitchen knife and grabbed a 41-year-old female employee’s arm and demanded she open the register, police said.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the register and fled on foot, police said. The woman was not injured.
Police described the man as 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark hoodie, a red scarf over his face, sunglasses, a white glove on his right hand and a black glove on his left, and dark shoes with a white strip around the sole.
