Plainview Dunkin’ Donuts robbed at knifepoint, police say
Nassau County police are looking for a man who on Wednesday used a large knife to rob a Plainview Dunkin’ Donuts.
Police said the man entered the doughnut shop at 156 Manetto Hill Rd. at about 9:30 p.m. and, displaying a large knife, walked behind the counter.
He demanded that the clerk, a woman, 33, open the register. After taking an unspecified amount of cash, the man fled in an unknown, direction, police said.
Police said the suspect is in his 30s, wore a black, hooded sweatshirt, bluejeans and gloves, and had a scarf covering his face.
He also wore a brown sneaker on his left foot and a black one on his right, police said.
No injuries were reported.
