Two people have been arrested in the assault on two men playing video games Saturday night in a Bellmore garage, police said Tuesday.
Lauren Morales, 28, and Nicholas Laurenti, 20, both of Smith Street in Hicksville, were among a group of four people involved in the assault on the two victims, ages 19 and 17, on Lakeview Road, Nassau County police said.
The other two attackers, both males, are being sought, police said.
The group entered the garage at 6:15 p.m., approached the men as they played video games, and “began to punch, kick and hit the victims with an aluminum bat in the face, head and body,” police said in a news release.
All four fled after the attack, police said.
The victims sustained cuts to their faces and pain to their legs but declined medical attention, police said.
Morales was arrested Monday night in Baldwin; Laurenti surrendered to Seventh Precinct detectives early Tuesday, police said. Each faces charges of first-degree burglary and second-degree assault and are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead.
