Police are searching for two men who tried to rob a 7-Eleven store Monday morning in Farmingville, but fled empty-handed.

The robbery attempt occurred at the store on Horseblock Road at 4:55 a.m., Suffolk County police said.

Police said one man displayed a knife, while the other flashed what “appeared” to be a gun. No one was injured.
