Police: 3 rob man walking on street in Lynbrook

Three men, one armed with a knife, robbed another man in Lynbrook on Tuesday night, Nassau County police said.

The victim, 28, was walking on Atlantic Avenue, near Raymond Avenue, at about 11 p.m. when he was approached by three men.

Police said the three, including one with a knife, demanded the victim turn over his property, and he handed over his cellphone.

The three suspects then ran north on Atlantic Avenue.

Police said each of the three suspects is 18 to 22 years old, about 5-feet-8 with a medium build and wore dark clothing.
