A Mastic woman was arrested Thursday morning after she drove drunk and high on Sunrise Highway in the Hamptons, slamming her Jeep into the center median barrier, police said.

Nicole Morgan, 37, was charged with driving while intoxicated with a combined impairment of alcohol and drugs, aggravated unlicensed operation, and 10 vehicle and traffic law violations, Southampton Town police said.

Morgan was being held for arraignment at Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.

Police received “several 911 calls” at about 7 a.m. describing a silver Jeep driving east on Sunrise in Hampton Bays on the center median, “striking the guard cables,” police said.

Town police and State police responded, and town officers found and stopped the Jeep by the North Road exit.

The driver, identified as Morgan, “appeared to be intoxicated and was found to be in possession of an open alcoholic beverage in the vehicle,” police said.

Police conducted field sobriety tests and arrested Morgan.
