Hampton Bays crash leads to felony DWI charge, cops say
A Ronkonkoma woman faces a felony drunken driving charge after a crash in Hampton Bays, Southampton Town Police said Tuesday.
Officers responding to the crash site at about 8 p.m. Monday on Good Ground Road said the driver, Jeanne Rodowicz, 56, was found to be intoxicated.
She faces a felony charge of driving while intoxicated because she has a previous drunken driving conviction, police said. She also is charged with failing to yield to right of way traffic.
She is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.
