A Floral Park woman was arrested Tuesday after police said she used a fraudulent credit card to book a room at the Marriott Hotel in Uniondale.
Odeshia Artwell, 23, of Little Neck Parkway, was arrested at the hotel, located on Doolittle Boulevard, at 4:15 p.m., Nassau County police said.
She was charged with two counts of possession of a forged instrument and one count of possession of a forgery device. She was scheduled for arraignment Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
Police said they were notified of the situation by the hotel director and said Crimes Against Property Squad detectives investigated the incident. Police said Artwell was found in the room she had booked with the fake card and that the skimmer and two fraudulent cards were found in the room.
