Police: Gunman robs discount card store in East Patchogue

Fifth squad detectives are investigating a Monday morning robbery at an East Patchogue discount card store, Suffolk County police said.

At 10:40 a.m. a man displaying a handgun stole an undetermined amount of cash from 50 Percent Off Cards & Gifts, in the 600 block of Montauk Highway, a police spokeswoman said.

No injuries were reported and no arrest has been made, she said.
