A Hewlett man faces arson charges in the torching of a clothing bin and a trash bin last July, police say Thursday.
Glenn Annesley, 55, of Quail Avenue, was arrested at 7 p.m. Wednesday on two counts of fifth-degree arson after “an extensive investigation,” Nassau County police said. He was awaiting arraignment at First District Court in Hempstead.
The charges stem from two separate fires: one involving a clothing bin in the rear lot of 100 Herricks Rd. and the other involving a trash bin in the rear lot of 80 Herricks Rd., police said.
In a news release, police did not provide a motive for the fires.
