Police: Homeless man arrested in Capital One bank robbery

A homeless man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a bank robbery last week in Riverhead, Riverhead Town police said Tuesday.
Vincent P. Allen, 30, was charged with third-degree robbery. Police said Allen robbed the Capital One Bank branch on East Main Street on April 26.
It was not clear how much money was stolen.
Allen was arraigned at Riverhead Justice Court and then taken to the Suffolk County jail “to be held until his next court date,” police said in a news release.
Further details were not immediately available.
