Police investigate shooting in Mastic
Police are investigating a Sunday night shooting in Mastic that left one man hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooting occurred on Poospatuck Lane at about 9:20 p.m., Suffolk County police said.
Police said the victim, whose identity was not released, was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue. His condition was not immediately known on Monday.
There have been no arrests, police said.
