A Lakeview man was arrested and charged with drug and weapon possession after a traffic stop Tuesday evening in Lakeview, Nassau County police said.

Terrell Fraiser, 38, of Carol Street, was arrested after, police said, they found he was driving with a suspended license.

A check of his car during the stop on Woodfield Road led to the recovery of a loaded .44-magnum Colt Anaconda revolver and “a container with concentrated cannabis,” police said. Police said the handgun had been reported stolen in Orlando, Fla., on Sept. 11, 2007.

Fraiser was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and three additional vehicle and traffic law violations, police said.

He is scheduled for arraignment Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead, they said.
