Nassau County police are looking for a trio of robbers who stole a pedestrian’s wallet at gunpoint in Baldwin on Saturday, authorities said.

The robbery happened about 7:50 p.m., when the victim was walking on Sunrise Highway near Grand Avenue, police said in a news release.

A black Dodge Ram pulled up to the pedestrian and two men got out. One of the robbers pulled a gun while the other went through the victim’s pockets, police said. The third man stayed behind the wheel of the truck, police said.

After they grabbed the wallet, the men jumped into the truck and fled east on Sunrise Highway, police said.

The victim walked to the First Precinct station house and reported the crime.
