Suffolk County police are looking for a man who robbed a Babylon bank on Thursday afternoon.

Authorities said the man entered the People’s United Bank branch on Deer Park Avenue and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller obeyed and the robber fled on foot.

Police said the man is 25 to 35 years old, 6-foot and 175 to 200 pounds. He wore a black nylon bomber jacket, bluejeans and a black knit hat, police said.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Suffolk County police at 631-852-6555 or Suffolk Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477.
