Lottery tickets, cigarettes stolen in Valley Stream, cops say
He smashed the glass, breaking into the store and grabbing scratch-off lottery tickets and cartons of cigarettes before fleeing into a waiting vehicle, Nassau County police said.
Now, police are asking the public’s help in locating the suspect and the driver, who they said burglarized the Express C Store on West Merrick Road in Valley Stream early Thursday morning.
Police said the break-in occurred at about 1:25 a.m.
The suspect who smashed the front-door glass to the store, then burglarized it, is believed to be male, and police said the driver of the getaway car is believed to be female.
Police did not release a description of the getaway car.
