Police: Man, 82, found seriously hurt on road in Hamptons

An 82-year-old man was found with serious injuries on a roadway in East Hampton and police are asking for the public’s help in finding out what happened.

A passing motorist found Harvey Roth, an East Hampton resident, about 4:30 p.m. Sunday on Farm Lane, town police said.

He was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital, police said.
