Nassau County police are looking for a person who beat and robbed a man outside a car dealership in Roosevelt on Friday evening.

Police said the 32-year-old male victim was unloading a company car behind Tomas Auto Sales, on Nassau Road, at about 5:35 p.m. when he was attacked from behind.

The attacker began hitting the man in the face and then grabbed his watch, wallet and an undisclosed amount of money. The attacker then ran away, police said.

A description of the attacker was not available, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries, which included a swollen face.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to report it anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477.
